1419 James Street
Home and Grounds - circa May 1976
Description:
This design is a fine example of the mixture of materials used in building a Tudor influenced home. Lead, slate, stucco, wood, brick, and stained glass were all used in this house built in 1923. Note the herringbone brickwork above the entrance, turned spindles and rough, irregular slates of the roof. This house also occupies the largest site in the district.
